About Client
The client operates in the electric mobility sector, offering EV charging solutions, electric two-wheeler sales, and battery subscription services. Through its mobile platform, the organization aggregates charging stations and streamlines EV adoption for individual users, fleet operators, and residential communities.
The platform supports a rapidly growing ecosystem of users, charging partners, and IoT-enabled devices, requiring a highly scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure to ensure seamless digital experiences and uninterrupted service availability.
Operating in the fast-evolving electric mobility ecosystem, the EV platform’s legacy cloud environment presented several limitations that impacted scalability and operational efficiency. With growing demand from EV users, fleet operators, and connected charging infrastructure, the existing setup struggled to seamlessly handle increasing application traffic, IoT messaging workloads, and transactional volumes. Greater visibility and control over cloud expenditure were also required to ensure improved cost optimization and financial governance. The infrastructure was distributed across multiple environments, leading to operational complexity and slower deployment cycles. Manual workload management reduced agility and made it difficult to maintain consistency across environments. The platform required a production grade architecture capable of supporting containerized microservices, API-driven services, cron-based workloads, and IoT communication systems in a highly available and scalable manner.
In addition, security and compliance considerations were critical during the transition. The migration needed to be executed with minimal downtime and zero data loss while enforcing strong access controls, encryption standards, and adherence to cloud security best practices ensuring uninterrupted service availability for end users and connected devices.
A phased migration to Amazon Web Services (AWS) was executed to establish a secure and scalable production environment. A resilient 3-tier VPC architecture was designed across multiple Availability Zones to ensure high availability and network segregation. Workloads from Google Cloud were migrated using AWS Application Migration Service (MGN), enabling continuous replication, validation, and a controlled cutover with minimal downtime. Existing instances were transitioned into a dedicated production VPC using an AMI-based approach for improved governance.
Containerized microservices were deployed on Amazon EKS with autoscaling capabilities to support dynamic demand, while Application and Network Load Balancers ensured secure and optimized traffic routing. Security best practices were enforced through IAM-based access control, bastion-restricted access, encryption, and centralized monitoring. Post-validation, legacy systems were decommissioned, resulting in a scalable, secure, and future-ready cloud foundation.

Comprinno designed a secure, scalable, and highly available AWS architecture to support the platform’s growing electric mobility ecosystem. The migration was executed using AWS Application Migration Service (MGN), enabling low-risk workload replication and seamless cutover with minimal downtime and zero data loss. The compute layer was built on Amazon EC2 instances deployed across multiple Availability Zones and integrated with Application Load Balancers to ensure fault tolerance, elasticity, and reliable user access. Containerized workloads were modernized using Amazon EKS with dedicated node groups for application services and Redis caching, ensuring workload isolation, performance consistency, and operational resilience. Serverless capabilities were introduced through AWS Lambda to support lightweight, event-driven backend automation without additional infrastructure overhead. Secure operations were enforced using AWS Secrets Manager and IAM-based role-based access control (RBAC) to maintain strong credential governance and fine-grained access management. Amazon SNS and Amazon SQS enabled reliable, decoupled communication between services, while Amazon ECR provided centralized container image management with lifecycle policies for optimization. Comprehensive monitoring was implemented using Prometheus and Grafana for real-time visibility and proactive issue detection, supported by AWS Budgets and Cost Explorer to maintain financial governance and cost transparency.
The successful migration to AWS established a secure, scalable, and future-ready cloud foundation for the EV platform. By modernizing the infrastructure, implementing container orchestration, enabling serverless automation, and strengthening governance and monitoring, the organization achieved improved performance, operational agility, and cost transparency. The transformation not only ensured a seamless transition with minimal business disruption but also positioned the platform to efficiently scale, innovate, and support the rapidly growing EV ecosystem with confidence.
