About Client
A technology driven insurance solutions provider that specializes in delivering digital platforms for policy administration and claims processing. The company focuses on delivering seamless and efficient insurance workflows for partners and end users. To overcome manual, time intensive claims processes, the organization implemented an AI-powered solution to reduce human intervention, shorten claim turnaround times, and enhance accuracy across the claims lifecycle.
The insurance solutions provider was looking to elevate its claims operations by introducing greater speed, accuracy, and consistency across the end-to-end workflow. With a growing volume of unstructured inputs such as driving licenses, vehicle documents, policy forms, photos, and videos the team saw an opportunity to move beyond manual review and adopt intelligent automation. They wanted a streamlined way to extract structured information from documents, ensure reliable interpretation of claim-related images and videos, and support more standardized cause-of-loss assessment. The existing processes operated through multiple independent steps, creating scope for a more unified and scalable framework that could handle increasing demand. Additionally, the organization aimed to enhance the internal team experience by enabling automated, context-aware query handling. Together, these aspirations highlighted the need for an AI-driven platform capable of harmonizing document processing, video analysis, and conversational support in a cohesive, future-ready solution.
To address the need for a more intelligent, accurate, and scalable claims ecosystem, a comprehensive AI-driven platform was designed using Amazon Bedrock and complementary AWS services. The solution combines document understanding, image and media analysis, and conversational intelligence into a unified workflow that greatly reduces manual effort. Bedrock Data Automation (BDA) with custom blueprints was implemented to extract structured information from licenses, vehicle documents, and claim forms, ensuring consistent and high-precision data capture. For image and video based assessments, state-of-the-art foundation models were used to interpret vehicle damage, analyze claim photos and videos, and support a standardized cause-of-loss evaluation process. A Bedrock Agent integrated with a Knowledge Base enables an intelligent chatbot capable of handling claim-related queries and providing contextual guidance to users. All components were orchestrated within a cohesive architecture that enhances operational efficiency, improves decision quality, and establishes a future-ready foundation for advanced insurance automation

Comprinno designed a secure, scalable architecture to support the AI-powered insurance claim automation solution by seamlessly integrating AWS Bedrock with core AWS infrastructure services. Bedrock capabilities including Claude 3.7/4 Sonnet for image-based damage analysis, Bedrock Data Automation for OCR, and Bedrock Agents for conversational insurance workflows are orchestrated through API Gateway and AWS Lambda to deliver AI-driven processing at scale. S3 serves as the secure data lake for storing documents, photos, and videos, while DynamoDB provides low-latency, highly available storage for structured claim data. All components operate within a tightly controlled VPC and are secured using IAM and KMS to ensure regulatory compliance and strong data protection. Monitoring and auditability are achieved using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and Config. This end-to-end architecture ensures high performance, automation, and accuracy across document extraction, damage assessment, and video analysis, providing insurance solutions provider with a robust and extensible platform for future AI-driven insurance operations.
By implementing a comprehensive AI-driven platform, the organization successfully transformed its claims processing operations into a more efficient, accurate, and scalable system. The integrated solution combines automated document extraction, advanced image-based analysis, and intelligent conversational support streamlined workflows, reduced manual effort, and standardized decision making across the claims lifecycle. With a unified architecture and extensible AI capabilities, the platform not only addresses current operational needs but also provides a future-ready foundation for further automation and innovation. Overall, the solution enhances operational efficiency, improves experience, and positions the organization for sustainable growth in a fast-evolving insurance landscape
