About Client
A leading digital mining solutions company is focused on leveraging Generative AI and cloud-native platforms to enhance enterprise knowledge access. The organization manages data across multiple sources, including documents, databases, and web content, and aims to provide users with a unified, intelligent interface for querying and interpreting this information. By adopting AI-driven solutions, the company seeks to improve operational efficiency, accuracy, and scalability in knowledge-driven workflows.
The leading digital mining solutions company aimed to build a unified, intelligent query interface capable of handling natural language queries across MongoDB, user-uploaded documents, and web content. The primary challenge was enabling accurate intent understanding and dynamic routing of queries to the appropriate data source while maintaining contextual relevance and response accuracy.
Integrating structured and unstructured data through a scalable RAG-based architecture posed additional complexity, requiring efficient data ingestion, semantic retrieval, and grounded response generation. The solution also needed to enforce secure, role-based data access and ensure data isolation across users and applications. Furthermore, designing a multi-agent orchestration layer to manage database queries, document retrieval, and web insights introduced challenges in workflow coordination, session management, and fallback handling. Balancing performance, cost optimization of LLM usage, and adherence to AWS security and governance best practices added to the overall complexity.
To address the leading digital mining solutions company’s requirement for a unified, intelligent data access platform, Comprinno implemented a production grade, multi-agent GenAI architecture on AWS that enables users to query MongoDB, documents, and web content through a single conversational interface. The solution leverages Amazon Bedrock (Nova models) as the core reasoning layer, combined with AgentCore Runtime to orchestrate multiple specialized agents for intent detection, data retrieval, and response generation. The architecture is built on a scalable and secure foundation using Amazon S3 for data storage, S3-based vector storage for semantic retrieval, and Bedrock Knowledge Bases for RAG workflows. It supports seamless ingestion of documents, MongoDB metadata, and web content, enabling context-aware responses grounded in enterprise data. The system incorporates session-based memory for multi-turn conversations, role-based data access controls, and optimized metadata handling to reduce LLM cost while maintaining accuracy.
Security, monitoring, and governance are embedded across the platform using IAM-based access control, encryption via AWS KMS, and centralized observability through Amazon CloudWatch and CloudTrail. The solution follows AWS best practices and provides a modular, extensible foundation for future enhancements and scalable AI adoption.

Comprinno designed a secure, scalable, and highly available serverless architecture on AWS to enable the leading digital mining solutions company’s unified GenAI-powered knowledge platform. User requests are routed through an Application Load Balancer (ALB), which distributes traffic across AWS Lambda functions deployed in multiple Availability Zones, ensuring fault tolerance, high availability, and consistent performance. The Lambda-based application layer handles document ingestion and agent invocation, while orchestrating interactions between AI services and backend data sources. The solution leverages Amazon Bedrock as the core intelligence layer, enabling natural language understanding, multi-agent orchestration, and context-aware response generation. Lambda functions integrate with Bedrock to dynamically process queries, retrieve relevant information, and generate accurate responses. Amazon S3 serves as the centralized storage layer, managing MongoDB metadata, user-uploaded documents, web-ingested data, and vector embeddings, while S3-based vector storage integrated with Bedrock Knowledge Bases enables efficient Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) for semantic search across unstructured data.
Secure connectivity to external data sources is established using AWS PrivateLink, enabling private and controlled access to MongoDB without exposing traffic to the public internet. The entire solution operates within a dedicated Amazon VPC, segmented across multiple subnets to ensure strong network isolation and secure communication between components. The architecture incorporates end-to-end security, monitoring, and governance, with IAM-based access control, encryption using AWS KMS, and centralized observability through Amazon CloudWatch, AWS CloudTrail, and AWS X-Ray. CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and Amazon ECR enable automated and reliable deployments, while AWS Backup ensures data durability and recovery.
Overall, this architecture delivers a production-ready, resilient, and extensible GenAI platform, enabling seamless integration of structured and unstructured data, intelligent query routing, and secure enterprise-grade operations aligned with AWS best practices.
The solution enabled the leading digital mining solutions company to transform enterprise knowledge access by introducing a unified, intelligent query interface across documents, databases, and web based content. Leveraging a scalable and secure AWS-native architecture, the platform delivers accurate, context-aware responses while dynamically routing queries to the most relevant data sources. This implementation significantly enhances information discovery, reduces manual effort, and ensures consistent performance as usage grows. Beyond addressing current knowledge access challenges, the solution establishes a flexible, future-ready foundation that supports ongoing enhancements, seamless expansion, and long-term business value without disrupting existing systems or workflows.
