About Customer
A digital printing technology company delivering advanced digital front-end solutions and workflow automation for the industrial and graphic arts print sectors. Their innovative software and cloud-based technologies enable high-quality color management and exceptional print output across a wide range of production printing systems.
As the customer’s cloud adoption matured, the organization faced growing strain across several critical areas like operations management, compliance and auditing, and cloud financial management. With rising regulatory requirements and increasing operational complexity, several challenges began to emerge that risked both compliance and agility. The absence of centralized identity controls led to fragmented identity and access management, often with inconsistent use of multi-factor authentication (MFA). Visibility into resource compliance and configuration drifts was limited, making it difficult to ensure consistent standards across environments. Additionally, the digital printing technology company lacked centralized security incident reporting and remediation workflows, further complicating response efforts. Backup lifecycle management and cost optimization processes were inefficient, and governance controls were inconsistently applied across AWS accounts. These issues underscore the need for a unified CloudOps strategy to enhance operational efficiency and compliance readiness.
To address the digital printing technology company’s CloudOps challenges, Comprinno implemented a robust multi-account governance and operations model based on AWS best practices. The updated architecture features centralized identity, security, logging, and automation capabilities deployed across all environments to ensure consistency, control, and scalability. This structure was further strengthened by onboarding all accounts into Tevico.

A centralized logging and security hub was established, integrating AWS IAM Identity Center for secure cross-account access, and enforcing backup and compliance policies at the account level. Security services like GuardDuty, AWS Security Hub, and AWS Config rules were enabled across all accounts, with logs centralized in Amazon S3 and CloudWatch Logs under strict access controls.
IAM Identity Center was configured to unify access management across accounts, enforce MFA for all human users, and facilitate quarterly IAM reviews tracked via JIRA. Security and governance were strengthened through automated compliance enforcement using AWS Config, integration of GuardDuty and Security Hub, and auto-ticketing of critical findings in JIRA for remediation.
Operational visibility was enhanced by onboarding all accounts to Tevico. AWS Backup was configured with defined retention, encryption, and lifecycle policies to ensure reliable and cost-effective recovery processes. Cost optimization was supported by consistent application of cost allocation tags, scheduled cost reporting (weekly, monthly, and quarterly), and biannual optimization reviews. Infrastructure performance was continuously evaluated through regular audits of compute and service usage, with the architecture being updated periodically to reflect evolving governance strategies.
Compliance and Auditing capabilities were enhanced through automated policy checks using AWS Config and aggregated visibility via AWS Security Hub. Audit trails were maintained centrally in Amazon S3 to support traceability and forensic analysis. All IAM access patterns were logged and reviewed quarterly to detect anomalies and ensure adherence to least-privilege principles. These measures collectively ensured the digital printing technology company’s environments remained audit-ready for compliance, with minimal manual effort.
Additionally, Tevico provides an Advanced Security Assessment tool that helped the digital printing technology company identify security vulnerabilities and ensure compliance across their AWS environments. Supporting 22 compliance standards, including SEBI, HIPAA, and GDPR, the tool presents a structured interface divided into sections like Account Summary, Finding Details, Compliance-Based Status, and Failed Findings by Service. Users can generate comprehensive reports in PDF or Excel formats and view categorized compliance findings with severity ratings, affected services, and suggested remediations. This enables a streamlined approach to maintaining security and regulatory compliance across cloud deployments.
Cloud Financial Management practices were institutionalized to promote cost accountability and transparency across teams. We implemented a tiered reporting framework using AWS Cost Explorer and Budgets, with automated weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports shared with engineering and finance stakeholders. Cost allocation tags were mandated for all deployed resources. Architectural and rightsizing reviews further ensured that over-provisioned workloads were optimized or decommissioned, contributing to a sustainable cost posture aligned with business needs.
As part of cloud financial management, Tevico’s Detailed Cost Dashboard enabled the organization to track and optimize AWS costs effectively. By leveraging AWS Cost & Usage Reports, it provided clear visibility into cost trends, top spending areas, right-sizing opportunities, and savings plan recommendations across multiple accounts. This helped stakeholders make informed budgeting decisions and achieve better cost control.
It also includes features like resource right-sizing, savings plan recommendations, EC2 cost coverage, tag explorer, AWS budget integration, and cost distribution across major AWS service categories. These insights are available for both the primary organization account and its child accounts, with support for timeline-based filtering.
Through advanced CloudOps practices, the digital printing technology company has been transformed into a secure, compliant, and scalable multi-account setup. Operations management was improved through centralized monitoring, backup automation, and standardized baselines. Compliance and auditing readiness were enhanced via automated policy checks, centralized logging, and regular IAM reviews. As part of this initiative, Tevico was instrumental in reinforcing financial visibility and compliance management. Cloud financial management was strengthened with cost tagging, structured reporting, and regular optimization cycles. This end-to-end CloudOps approach, aligned with AWS best practices, enables the digital printing technology company to scale confidently while maintaining control, efficiency, and audit readiness.
